Review

This is one of those novels that stays true to its genre. It is wonderfully Noir and takes you back to that time and feel. I loved how it was set in the City of Angels. The author has that aspect of it nailed.

As far as the plot went, goodness there is a lot going on. Maxine Nunes doesn't skimp when it comes to all that comes with Hollywood (sex, drugs, and even murder).

There are many shocks throughout this novel. Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat!
